What is Performance Therapy?
Performance Physical Therapy is the best of all worlds. We use the newest and latest approaches to evaluate, treat, and get you out of pain faster while also getting people moving and stronger than ever before. We have a full gym set up that makes your physical therapy look a whole lot like a personal training session. Make sure you bring your gym clothes! This isn’t your grandma's PT?
Do You Accept Insurance?
TRIBE Physical Therapy & Performance is an out-of-network/cash-based practice, which allows each session to be delegated by your specific needs rather than your insurance contract. This means that we do not take insurance, however we are more than happy to provide the necessary information you need to file to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement will vary based on your specific insurance provider and out-of-network PT benefits. We do accept HSA/FSA!
Do I Need To See A Doctor Before Coming?
Florida is a "direct access state." That means, a physician referral is not required for treatment by a physical therapist. You are allowed to go directly to a physical therapist without a physician's referral first.
How Long Are Your Sessions?
Each session is typically about an hour, but depends on the needs of your treatment. Your therapist will set the expectations during your initial visit.
Do You Provide Payment Options?
YES! We offer payment plans for up to 6 months after the initial visit. We also offer a pay-as-you go option with agreement to scheduling your visits ahead of time.
Can PT Help If I had It In The Past?
Absolutely. Not all PT is the same and not all PT chooses to take a holistic viewpoint when assessing injuries. Working on the body as a whole and not just focusing on the site of pain is important to helping you overcome injury/pain.
Do I Need An MRI Before I Start?
An MRI provides more detail than a standard x-ray. Just because you have pain or an injury, doesn’t necessarily mean you need an MRI or that an MRI will be helpful. For more information regarding your specific situation, please feel free to call us to chat or schedule your physical therapy session.
How Quickly Will I See Results?
You should start to see positive results within the first 2-4 sessions of physical therapy. Positive results can be gauged by many factors including: decreased pain, improved flexibility/range of motion, and decreased hesitation to perform previously painful activities.
How Frequently Do I Need To Come To PT?
It all depends. We customize our physical therapy to the need of our clients. For those that are independent and will execute their physical therapy program on a consistent basis, less frequent check ins are possible (1x/week or 2x every other week). For those that require more supervision or like to be held accountable, multiple times/week may be beneficial. For post-surgical clients, multiple sessions/week are recommended.
Do You Provide Dry Needling?
We sure do! There is no extra cost for dry needling and can be including in your session based on your plan of care determined during your initial evaluation.
Do I Need To Be A Competitive Athlete To Be Seen?
Absolutely Not! At TRIBE, we believe that everybody is an athlete. While LG loves working with competitive athletes and helping them optimize their functional movement patterns, He treats any and all musculoskeletal injuries.
